Hey, I’m Sarah…

The owner and curator of The Highbrow Society. I wanted to create a space where independent local artists could have somewhere to work from, grow their businesses and do their own thing.

The studio is home to Brand Street Tattoo, Jake Ralph Barbering and my brow studio. We’re all good friends, which is a big part of why the studio has the feel it does — relaxed, friendly, alternative and a little bit like a family.

I’ve been a brow artist for over 16 years, and for me, it’s never just been about brows. I care about the whole experience and prioritising wellbeing and you. I work intuitively and go by you and your energy. So whether you want a chat, some quiet time or even a nap — I’m down! I just want you to leave feeling well rested, looked after and happy with your treatment.

I’ve always believed in natural, considered beauty. I’m not interested in overdoing things, following trends or making everyone look the same. I want your brows to look like they belong to you — enhancing what’s already there, with low-maintenance treatments and kind, considered ingredients.

Most of all, I want the studio to feel comfortable. No pressure or expectation to be anything other than yourself. It’s about good work, good people, chilled vibes, celebrating creativity and creating a space that feels good to be in.
